FAQS

What items do you take?

  • We take the following construction & demolition materials: wood, drywall, metals, plastics, cardboard, concrete, brick, roofing, rebar, soil, small yard debris (no trees), pallets, rock, flooring, carpet, carpet pads, and asphalt.

What Items are not taken?

  • The following are NOT taken: Asbestos, Batteries, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Household Garbage, Liquids, Tire, Furniture, Hazardous Waste, Electronic Waste, and Whitegoods (Stoves, Refrigerators, etc.).

Do C & D landfills smell?

  • Because of high volume of materials that are recycled and the type of products we use in our landfills there are no odors.

What happens if MSW (sanitation) arrives at our facility?

  • If MSW material is detected during the unloading process, we send it back with the hauler or put it in one of our containers to be taken to an approved landfill.

Do you have containers for rent?

  • We do not rent containers, but we can help you find them if needed.

What happens to materials after they have been received at your site?

  • All materials are processed at the recycling facility where they are placed on picking-lines to be sorted and separated. Any materials that cannot be recycled are then transported to an approved landfill.

Is the facility really loud?

  • No. We operate only during normal business hours. We also have large buffers and distance buffers installed which significantly block any sound for nearby homes or businesses.

Are your locations full of dust?

  • No. All the roads adjoining the recycling center are paved.

What are your hours of operation?

  • We are open Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

How do I pay?

  • Customers can pay with check, cash, credit/debit cards, or for repeat customers you can have an account established by the landfill.

What is LEED?

  • LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design. It is a green building certification program that recognizes building strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, building projects must satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification. Prerequisites and credits differ for each rating system, and builders choose the best fit for their project.
